Paint correction is an art form. Not many can properly do it. And most shouldn't do it at all. Definitely not to be tried by anyone but professionals. Paint correcting takes time, patience and knowledge. There are many steps to properly diagnose what is needed to remove the defects such as swirl marks, hazing, holograms, bird drop etching and hard water marks. Through various pads, polishes, machines and techniques, we are able to bring your paint back to life.

Why a Paint Correction is critical

Why do you need a paint correction? Every car needs some level of paint correction. Yes, even brand new cars. Most dealerships will have their cars that are in inventory sitting in the lot. This exposes the cars to the elements before they can be properly protected. Besides this, cars are transported from the factories where they are built to the dealership. This transportation can include railroads, tractor trailer trucking and air travel as well. While this all seems harmless, each of these adds its own special type of contamination to the paintwork of your vehicle. Rail cars can cover your vehicle with rail dust, cause miniature rust dots all over your paint. Tractor trailers will spread road grime, soot, acid rain, bird droppings etc. All of this needs to be removed prior to waxing or any type of coating.

This is especially true in new exotics. More often than not, brand new exotics are wet sanded at the factory to try and provide a flawless finish. Commonly, sanding marks and other imperfections can be found after this process, especially on darker color cars.

The worst thing you can do is trust the dealership to prepare your car for you. They deal in volume, not quality of the job. Vehicles are rushed in and out, and without proper prep, your paints finish will never look as good as it can when a professional handles it, and the dealership usually does more harm than good.
